Concept Building and Restoration is a family business, owned and operated by Dilworth residents Bjorn and Dominique Greene. They concentrate on the high-end restoration and remodeling of homes in the historic neighborhoods of Charlotte, such as Dilworth, Eastover, and Myers Park. Bjorn and Dominique also have extensive experience in new residential, modern, and light commercial construction.
The company started in 2000 by the request of a close friend in need of a trustworthy contractor. Fifteen years later and Concept Building is still running strong. Bjorn runs a tight ship, which ensures costs are kept to a minimum while never compromising customer service or quality of construction. Evidence of this can be seen in the extensive amount of homes that have been entrusted to Bjorn as well as in the numerous testimonials by satisfied customers, architects, and designers of the Charlotte area.
Bjorn Greene
Bjorn is a Charlotte native and has been involved in construction since a young age. Immediately following high school, he spent four years in the 82nd Airborne Army Division, after which he studied engineering at UNC Charlotte. Bjorn’s experience with leadership and team building landed him an opportunity to work with Simonini Builders as a Lead Supervisor. In the time he worked at Simonini Builders he helped them win several awards, including the National Builder of the Year in 1999. After four years with Simonini, Bjorn set out to use the experience he had earned to start his own company that would exceed the norm. Outside of work Bjorn can be found fishing in a lake, river, or ocean. If it has to do with building or fish, Bjorn is into it!
Dominique Greene
Dominique serves as the company accountant, payroll supervisor, and office clerk. Outside of work she enjoys gardening and yoga, as well as raising her and Bjorn’s two boys, Damien and Maddox.
Omar Ramirez
Omar is Bjorn’s lead supervisor, acting as such for the past three years. He began his career with Bjorn in 2005 as a carpenter’s assistant. In the decade they have been working together Omar has garnered impeccable customer service as well as become an invaluable and trusted source of construction expertise.
